Trump Politicians Toomie and White Gunning for Philadelphia

Philadelphia has a problem other Sanctuary Cities don't face. A local politician Martina White in the170th State House District, in the vicinity of Roosevelt Blvd. near Bucks County is trying to Defund Philadelphia. Trump wants Gays, Blacks, Hispanics and Environmentalists fighting with each other, and Sen. Toomey is equally tying to defund Sanctuary Cities. They make a powerful force.

Before I go on, Mayor Jim Kenney keeps urging us to stop calling Philadelphia a Sanctuary City. He made Philadelphia a 4th Amendment City. When you call the cops they don't check you, or witnesses, or bystanders to see if any owe child support, have traffic tickets, missed a signed agreement student loan payment, or expensive bicycles, or jewelry for proof of ownership. Doing so would keep the police busy, and make people far less likely to call the police. During routinely police calls checking immigrant status could even get a security guard in trouble along with the shoplifter.

Rep. White said some of her constituents were worried. But much local immigration is legal Puerto-Ricans fleeing the Island due to the bankruptcy, Oxford Circle with a lot of then, hugs and slightly overlaps the 170th District, Irritated complainants probably don't know one Hispanic from another.

Trump's infrastructure projects, will in part, reward rural supporters. If a desperate Philadelphia shatters with the Gay, Black, and Ecology communities crying Uncle, it won't then pull together demanding something for SEPTA.

Rural Pennsylvania traditionally fights with Philly over Guns, Fracking, Pubic Transit vs Roads and rural Infrastructure, and are upset with Philly's indiscreet, gay nightlife. Philly's priceless historic treasures are likely to be seen as problem documents in the way of efficient Trump-style government. Please everyone, remind people in the 170th House District that if Rep. White makes Philly Detroit-Bankrupt people in the upper northeast will suffer too, and Trump's Infrastructure Projects will defund public transit without a united Philly which she is trying to destroy.

Toomey got away with calling himself a moderate, not a fascist, due to the gun issue, Rep. White makes herself seem less conservative, supporting choice legislation.

My contention is that the Gun issue is one issue Philly can compromise on without destroying its soul. And that there is something contradictory in contending crackdowns build law and order in one area but tolerance does so in another. It is ironic that Mayor Kenny points out immigration crackdowns make usually quiet, mostly law aiding people avoid calling the police, but doesn't note the same with people whose only crime is possessing a gun.

Erika Kulp was terrorized by her boyfriend into buying two guns one supposedly for herself then later finally called to police to stop being beaten thus is considered a criminal with a 5 year minimum. Someone terrorized into participation of an illegal act is somehow no longer considered a victim, but a partner in crime. The Battered Woman’s Movement has pity for one forced into prostitution but not into making a straw purchase.

Michael Coard has an oldie-but-goody article about how too much punishment also spreads gun crime.

Not everyone with an illeal gun deserves jail time

Especially since the Philadelphia FOP endorsed Trump, some police officers might defy orders and give names of immigrants to the Feds. Repeatedly ignoring the chain of command could change then into vigilantes.

I suggest an only a $10 fee not, the current up to $2000 fine for carrying a gun in a Philly park, $50 for reporting it after the fact like right after brandishing it in self-defense and thus reporting it first, and $250 if discovered unreported, if stopped for another reason, wouldn't spread crime and bring more money to the city than the sugar and cigarette taxes.

When looking at Michael Coard's writings you might find his heavy Mumia articles a turn-off. There were two suspicions deaths where corruption was a likely factor. When the Salvation Army Thrift Shop collapsed, the (usually trying to be honest) chief inspector Ronald Wagenhoffer mysteriously committed suicide which prevented less honest people at License and Inspection from going to jail. In the early 1980's the one (reported to be honest cop in the overwhelmingly corrupt 39th District Corruption Scandal, (Google it) of the Philadelphia Police Department was supposedly murdered by Mumia rather than testifying in the pending investigation of the most corrupt police district in the country.

They would have gone to jail sooner and perhaps more if Officer Faulkner didn't die first. While Mumia abu Jamal was bringing federal attention to police-corrupt Philadelphia his brother Billy and brother Billy's partner's Kenneth Freeman's corrupt newsstand was servicing corrupt police. Honest public officials who attempt to refuse to participate in corruption, especially police officers may be in particular danger in the corrupt years to come.

When a police official is shot without warning in a routine traffic stop, the fine print is often that the suspect was facing many years in jail for Parole and/or Probation violation. Violators, perhaps preferring to die, rather than spend the rest of their life in jail. If violating parole in Philadelphia would lead to a last chance with attached camera and 24 hour tracking device, police work would be suddenly safer, maybe noticeably safer, even before Inaugural Day. A camera and tracking device on most, if not all, not violently aggressively pretrial detention would discourage the Feds from trying to bankrupt Philly into compliance.

Philadelphia must compromise somewhere. if not guns, than where? I am hoping that Philadelphia's desperate corner will lead to a creative response, Rather than the end lesson being, “When in a corner Trump must be obeyed”.

King Trump & Henchmmen Sen. Toomey & Local Rep. White Gunning to Make Philly Detroit Bankrupt

Gang of Three  planning to trample Phily

This gang js determined to cut all Federal and Stare funding to Philadelphia a Sanctuary City, while continuing to collect heavy taxes. Sanctuary strongly supported by US's 2nd largest Puerto-Rican community. Prior to this rural Pennsylvanians put several Philly politicians in jail with one informer admitting he was told only to target Democrats. Rural PA oppose public transit funds, nervous about Philly's gay nightlife and traditionally fight with Philadelphia over gun laws.

Gun issues is one issue Philly can compromise on without destroying its soul.  I think it is ironic that Philly Mayor Kenny points out Immigration Crackdowns make usually quiet mostly law obeying people avoid, even when necessary, calling the police but this is also true with otherwise law obeying people possessing an undocumented gun, or a registered gun missing when the chief suspect is a relative or neighbor they are afraid of and thus afraid to report,

Gang of Three on the March Against Philly

Donald Trump made it clear he plans to cut off Federal funding to Sanctuary Cities, Philadelphia, by far, is the most at risk since PA Senator Toomey, and North East Philadelphia Republican Rep. Martina White have already rammed a punitive bill through the State House and Senate.

Strangely people who don't know English hired by a shady work gang are OK for Trump. Ans Toomey made most of his fortune investing in the cheapest labor. Rural Pennsylvanians expect to be rewarded by Trump with rural infrastructure as they traditionally fight city public transit, are unhappy about Philly's gay nightlife and fight with Philly over gun issues. Philly's priceless historic treasures likely seen as problem documents in the way of efficient Trump style government.
To not overstate the bad news locally of the doom and gloom ahead for Philadelphia there is touch of good news, Pittsburgh has just become the latest Sanctuary City So all the traditional anger downstate at Philadelphia will get spread at least.

Mayor Jim Kenney calls Philadelphia a 4th Amendment City instead of a Sanctuary City which would appeal to Libertarians and Libertarian leaning Republicans if Kenney wasn't so anti-gun. Kenney rightly cries crime will skyrocket in immigrant neighborhoods if victims are afraid to call the police. A store turning over a thief to the police may discover one of their guards also being detained due to immigrant violations. Using corporeal punishment instead on shoplifters could make things escalate.

Somehow Mayor Kenney and other both pro-sanctuary and pro-heavy sentence gun control advocates never note that someone brandishing an undocumented (called by Kenney illegal) gun at a robber or mugger can't, like undocumented immigrants, call the police for help. And when it comes to throwing the book at those making a straw purchases Erika Kulp was terrorized by her boyfriend into buying two guns one supposedly for herself then later finally called to police to stop being beaten thus is considered a criminal along with her boyfriend. Someone terrorized into participation of an illegal act is somehow no longer considered a victim, but a partner in crime. The FOP in Philly endorsed Trump. Thus some officers here are more likely to defy orders and give names of immigrants to the Feds. Repeatedly ignoring the chain of command could head into the police changing into being vigilantes.

Trump is a master of divide and conquer. if we could master bringing people together. Donald Trump would lose some of his bite. Even Donald Trump improve a little.

I suggest an only $10 fee not the current up to $2000 fine for carrying a gun in a Philly park, $50 for reporting it after the fact like right after brandishing it in self-defense and thus reporting it first, and $250 if discovered unreported, if stopped for another reason, wouldn't spread crime and bring more money to the city than the sugar and cigarette taxes.
